Transformed from an old Soviet hanger to an exciting water park, Tropical Islands expands an incredible 66,000 sqm all within an enclosed space that remains at a steady 26 degrees year-round. The space features the world’s largest indoor rainforest, a lagoon, a tropical sea (3 times larger than an Olympic swimming pool) and Germany’s highest water slide. There is also an outdoor water-world area, with a 250-metre jet stream.

Get ready to have the most fun ever at the swashbuckling Pirates Island Waterpark, the most thrilling waterpark in the Caribbean. Fly down 11 thrilling water slides, including the tallest in Turks & Caicos, the awesome 42-ft SkySlide. Pick up some surf skills on the region’s only SurfStream surf simulator and wind your way along the 650-foot lazy river. Even little kids can join in the fun with a pirate ship to climb aboard and enjoy drenching water fights using the water cannons. Rounding off the fabulous pool facilities is the kids only swim-up bar and the shallow pool for tiny tots.

The sister resort of the Bahamas’ Atlantis is the Atlantis The Palm. This extravagant and prestigious family holiday playground is the largest waterpark in Dubai. It boasts an extensive collection of water slides and tidal rivers. The most impressive slides are ‘Shark Attack’ and ‘The Plunge’ as well as the exhilarating Rapids and Torrent River. You can also enjoy a hands-on encounter at Dolphin Bay, feed the rays or dive in the Ambassador Lagoon alongside the sharks, rays and guitarfish.

I enquired about flights however ended up booking a hotel on Copacabana beach transfers, airport parking and a hotel stay in London Heathrow the night before I flew as it was just all so easy and once I had confirmed the booking Your Travel booked me a complimentary Lounge, you don’t find service like this anymore, well done Your Travel.

We booked a city break to Barcelona with Sam for our 6 year wedding anniversary, I was blown away when we got to the hotel Sam had organised the room to be decorated with petals a bottle of champagne and some chocolates, it really was the perfect start to our trip. I will be back in touch as soon as we look to go away again.

Our Bali holiday was the best yet. I don’t usually use agents to book my holidays but I’ve got to say that my mind has been changed. Well done YT!
