New Emirates First Class Suites

All eyes were on Emirates at the 2017 Dubai Airshow in November. Emirates’ President Tim Clark opened the doors to the first of its Boeing 777-300ERs containing the new Emirates first class suites after years of anticipation. Here’s what we know about the new suites.

Details of Emirates First Class Suites

The new first class suites will be featured on Emirates’ new 777 aircraft. The 777s will feature just six of these new suites in a 1-1-1 configuration, compared to the previous 1-2-1 configuration. Each first class suite has floor to ceiling sliding doors with luxurious design features inspired by the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Emirates’ game-changing new suites take luxury and privacy to the next level with soft leather seating, high-tech control panels and mood lighting. These fully-enclosed private suites allow passengers up to 40 square feet of personal space.

Here are some highlights of the new Emirates first class suites’ design features:

• The new Emirates 777 first class cabin interior has a whole new colour palette of soft greys, cream and champagne to give a contemporary, timeless feel.
• The soft leather seat reclines into a full flat bed. They can even be placed in a ‘zero-gravity’ position inspired by NASA technology, giving a feeling of weightlessness and relaxation.
• To ensure all First Class customers have a view, Emirates have introduced the industry’s first virtual windows for those in the middle aisle. The virtual windows project a real time view from outside the aircraft. In the window suites, binoculars are available for passengers who want to explore the sky.
• Customers can view over 2,500 channels on a 32-inch Full HD LCD TV screen, with Bowers & Wilkins Active Noise Cancelling E1 Headphones created exclusively for Emirates.
• Each suite comes with an inspiration kit which features a luxury Byredo skincare collection, Hydra Active moisturising pyjamas and Bulgari amenity kits.
• As part of the Mercedes-Benz collaboration, Emirates’ complimentary chauffeur service in the UAE will feature a fleet of S-Class vehicles.

Which routes will have Emirates’ new first class?

The first two 777-300ERs featuring Emirates first class suites will be in service as of 1st December 2017. The routes that they will fly are to/from Dubai to Brussels and Geneva.
