Pineapple Beach Club

Pineapple Beach Club is an all-inclusive, adults only resort. Located on Long Bay, it overlooks one of Antigua’s best white-sand beaches. The resort had some of the friendliest staff out of all the resorts I visited in Antigua. It is also Antigua’s ‘Most Laid Back All Inclusive Resort’ and is excellent value for money.

Pineapple Beach Club offers five different categories of guest room; Courtyard, Garden View, Ocean View, Beachfront and Waterfront. Each room features a private balcony or patio, with some rooms featuring shared verandas.

Dining

Pineapple Beach Club has five restaurants and three incredible bars. Chef Pietro’s offers a mouth-watering Italian-inspired buffet and a la carte dinners. The Pineapple Grill is located next to reception and serves a la carte dinner inspired by Caribbean flavours.

The resort’s main restaurant is Topaz, serving local and international cuisine including buffet breakfast, buffet lunch and a la carte and themed buffet dinners. Pelican Snack Grill serves a light lunch as well as late night snacks including burgers, sandwiches and cold drinks. My favourite restaurant has to be The Outhouse because I love the concept of it. Every guest who eats lunch at The Outhouse gets to sign a plank of wood which is then nailed to the interior to create a lovely sense of nostalgia. It’s also quite interesting seeing all the messages that people have wrote over the years. The food was delicious too, a real authentic taste of the Caribbean.

Facilities

Pineapple Beach Club is situated on over a quarter mile of beautiful white-sand beach where guests have complimentary access to non-motorised water sports including Hobie Cat sailing, kayaking, windsurfing and water hammocks. Alternatively, guests can enjoy the two freshwater swimming pools situated on resort.

In addition to water activities, Pineapple Beach Club offers its guests two tennis courts to play and have lessons during the day, a fitness centre with cardio equipment and weights and aqua aerobics classes. Guests can also partake in Caribbean cooking classes and a wide selection of off-site tours and excursions.
