Many people associate Buenos Aires with the tango, the finest steak and great wine. It’s not hard to see why as you can watch and learn it in all over the city. You have steakhouses (Parrillas) sitting on every corner ready for you to dine in and the nightlife is almost never-ending.
But Argentina’s capital also tells a different story. One of a city that is mixed between its influences of Latin America and Europe, creating an experience that will give you a taste of the cosmopolitan spirit of the city. From the colourful Caminito, Recoleta, Boca Stadium, Mataderos Market, Botanic Garden, and Japanese Garden to Holy Land, the world’s first religious theme park.
From Buenos Aires, you’ll be travelling to the incredible Iguazu Falls where you will be staying in the Belmond Hotel das Cataratas for 2 nights.
The Iguazu Falls originate from the Iguazu River, which is located on the border of Brazil and Argentina. They are a magnificent spectacular of 275 drops that have awed everyone who has ever set eyes on it. And where better to stay as you travel Argentina than at Belmond das Cataratas, in the greatest location with direct views of the falls and access to the park even when it’s closed to the general public.
Upon departing Iguazu Falls, you will take a short flight and transfer to Mendoza, where you’ll be staying at the unique, boutique Entre Cielos for the next 3 nights.
At the foot of the majestic Andes, famous for its leafy streets, atmospheric squares, diverse cafés and Malbec wines. Mendoza is one of the prettiest cities in Argentina. The Entre Cielos is 20 minutes outside of the city, tucked away in the heart of Lujan de Cuyo. You will explore everything from the region’s world class wineries and dining experiences, to active adventure in the mountains as well as all the world-class shopping, nightlife and culture of Mendoza itself.
After you’ve tried and tasted Mendoza, you’ll be heading back to Buenos Aires for another 3 nights. Take a short domestic flight back to the capital to see everything you missed the first-time round. This time you’ll be staying in the Legado Mitico for 2 nights.
You’ll be staying in the cosmopolitan area of Palermo, in Buenos Aires. You’ll probably spend most of your time in the bohemian Palermo Soho. Its picturesque stone-paved streets are lined with the widest selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.
