After several small-time jobs where my heart really wasn’t in it, I stumbled into a job in travel through my best friend. Cut-to 10 or so years later and I’m still here. Working in this industry has been one of the biggest constants in my life to date. I have always had a passion for travel, being half Swedish and travelling 2-3 times year to Sweden for the first 12 years of my life I guess that makes sense. This industry has allowed me to see many countries and to experience many things that I’m thankful for.
With a wealth of travel experience behind me, I rely on my extensive knowledge of all things travel every day. I’m also ever so slightly OCD, so my tidiness plays a part in my work life. I rarely miss a trick and I don’t make the same mistake twice. I’ve visited many countries, travelled in luxury and I’ve experienced some of the nicest hotels in the world. Yet, for me the stories that I seem to tell more often are those where the hotel was awful, the flight had horrendous turbulence and the holiday just did not go to plan. I try to implement this thinking into my everyday life, ups and downs will happen but the experiences will always shape your life and help to define your character.

Dale took a great deal of trouble to use lateral vision in order to recommend the best route for us from Manchester (UK) to Florida. Several possibilities were discussed until he hit on the “Irish“ connection. This fitted the bill beautifully with only a short stopover in Dublin and with the added advantage of customs and immigration requirements dealt with in Ireland. What a star – thank you Dale.
