I have worked in the travel industry now for 10 years, I would say it’s the best industry to work in purely for the fact I have been lucky enough to visit so many places and stay at some of the most amazing hotels and fly some of the best business and first class products. I always get asked where is my favourite place – And my answer is it all depends on what you are looking for out of a trip however for me overall its South Africa. I’m yet to set foot in South America as when I do I want to be there for 4-6 months and travel it all to get the full experience. A few experiences I am yet to have that are on my list are shark cage diving, sky diving over the Palm Island in Dubai, Rocky Mountaineer across Canada and Machu Picchu.
If your dreams don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough
I booked a flight, hotel and Machu Picchu tour for my daughter and her friend. Dale took a great deal of trouble to use lateral vision in order to recommend the best route for us from Manchester (UK) to Florida. Several possibilities were discussed until he hit on the “Irish“ connection. This fitted the bill beautifully with only a short stopover in Dublin and with the added advantage of customs and immigration requirements dealt with in Ireland. What a star – thank you Dale.
